Ford Shrinks Stickers For 2007 Models
May 28, 2006 on 1:20 am | In Car News |DETROIT - First Ford Motor Co. disclosed its pricing strategy for 2007. Now the company has revealed some of its stickers for the coming season. As Ford promised, the trend is down.
Not all car and truck lines were affected by the May revisions. Of those that were, some went up, and some went down.
Automotive News estimates that the Ford Motor stickers went down a sales-weighted average of $91. The figures were minus $102 for Ford and minus $38 for Mercury. The corporate average is close to the Ford division figure because the division in 2005 accounted for 89.2 percent of Ford Motor’s light-vehicle sales of its North American brands. Mercury has 6.6 percent.
